The Drawer component is part of Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core, a professional grade UI library with 110+ components for building modern and feature-rich applications. To try it out sign up for a free 30-day trial.

The Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core Drawer is a dismissible or permanently visible panel that can be used as a sidebar component for navigation in responsive web applications or for changing the content of a section on the page. The Drawer exposes a variety of options for layout, templates, and navigation, for example, you can position the Drawer to the left or right on the page, render it as overlaping its associated content, display the component next to the associated content, collapse or expand it.

The current example shows a Drawer and a ToolBar component. The ToolBar has a hamburger icon, which expands the Drawer on click. This logic is implemented with jQuery and the client-side API methods of the Drawer. You can review it in the toggleDrawer script tag function. In addition, you can expand the Drawer by using a swipe gesture on the respective content, which is displayed through the ItemClick event handler.
