The Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core Sortable provides a drag-and-drop functionality to the elements that match the selector passed to its For configuration method.

The current example displays a configuration of an unordered HTML list integrated with the Sortable component and allowing users to rearrange the list items.

The Sortable is a server-side wrapper for the Kendo UI for jQuery Sortable component and supports an HtmlHelper and a TagHelper mode.

Functionality and Features

  • Hint—The Sortable control renders a hint that is the element which represents the dragged item and is a clone of the dragged item.
  • Items—You can also adjust the behavior of the Sortable items.
  • Cursor—The Sortable supports a set of cursor types that will be displayed while the user is dragging a sortable item.
  • Placeholder—You can set the behavior of the element which indicates where the dragged item will be placed when the user drops it.
  • Integration with other components—The Sortable enables you to reorder the items in the Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core Grid, ListView, and TabStrip components.
