Description

The Kendo UI for jQuery Drawer enables you to display the drawer in either overlay or push mode.

This demo shows both modes and how they act when the Drawer is either shown or hidden.

This Drawer example is part of a unique collection of hundreds of jQuery demos, with which you can see all Kendo UI for jQuery components and their features in action. View the source code of the demos from the library or directly adapt, and edit them and their theme appearance in Kendo UI for jQuery Dojo or ThemeBuilder.

Description

The Kendo UI Drawer has two modes that are quite different in terms of behavior:

  • Overlay - takes the entire height of page and it provides overlay effect on the page when opened.
  • Push - in push mode the drawer interacts with specific content/section of the page. In open state it pushes the content to the left or right (depending on the drawer's position) to take the remaining space.

    • The Kendo UI Drawer can be positioned either on left or right side using the position configuration option.
