      Column virtualization

There are cases when you may need to operate with large amount of columns in the grid, and displaying them at once would impose a performance penalty due to limited browser resources.

Luckily, the Kendo UI grid has a solution called column virtualization that alleviates any slowdowns when operating with huge volumes of columns. When enabled via the scrollable->virtual configuration option, it displays only a number of all the columns. When scrolling is performed the visual subset of columns is changed accordingly.

The column virtualization can be used with the row virtualization thus increasing the performance substantially
