The Kendo UI for jQuery Scheduler enables you to restrict the events and improve the control over the resources by using its API. You can prevent not only the drag and resize capabilities of the appointments, but also allow and prevent the creation of a new event, or the modification of an existing one by any criteria defined by you.

The logic which enforces the restrictions in this example resides in the resize, move, and and save event handlers of the Scheduler.
