Description
The Telerik UI for ASP.NET MVC Sortable provides a drag-and-drop functionality to the elements that match the selector passed to its For
configuration method.
The current example displays a configuration of an unordered HTML list integrated with the Sortable component and allowing users to rearrange the list items.
The ASP.NET MVC Sortable control is part of Telerik UI for ASP.NET MVC, a professional-grade UI library with 110+ components for building modern and feature-rich web applications. The Sortable is a server-side wrapper for the Kendo UI for jQuery Sortable component and comes in the form of an HtmlHelper.
Functionality and Features
- Hint—The Sortable control renders a hint that is the element which represents the dragged item and is a clone of the dragged item.
- Items—You can also adjust the behavior of the Sortable items.
- Cursor—The Sortable supports a set of cursor types that will be displayed while the user is dragging a sortable item.
- Placeholder—You can set the behavior of the element which indicates where the dragged item will be placed when the user drops it.
- Integration with other components—The Sortable enables you to reorder the items in the Telerik UI for ASP.NET MVC Grid, ListView, and TabStrip components.
