Description

The Kendo UI Filter provides the ability to save and restore changes that were previously applied to its structure, using its getOptions and setOptions client-side methods. You can use these methods to store settings and when needed to restore them. To demonstrate this functionality, we use localStorage key/value pair to save and load the filter state.

The current example shows how you can add an expression to filter a Grid, and then preserve the Filter expression after you reload the page.

This Filter example is part of a unique collection of hundreds of jQuery demos, with which you can see all Kendo UI for jQuery components and their features in action. View the source code of the demos from the library or directly adapt, and edit them and their theme appearance in Kendo UI for jQuery Dojo or ThemeBuilder.
