Description

With the R2 2020 release, the Kendo UI for jQuery DatePicker introduced updates to its rendering and appearance. To switch to the new look and feel of the component, set its componentType property to "modern".

This example enables you to switch between the component types on the fly and observe the differences of the modern and classic appearances.

This DatePicker example is part of a unique collection of hundreds of jQuery demos, with which you can see all Kendo UI for jQuery components and their features in action. View the source code of the demos from the library or directly adapt, and edit them and their theme appearance in Kendo UI for jQuery Dojo or ThemeBuilder.
