The Kendo UI for jQuery MultiColumnComboBox virtualization improves both client and server performance for cases of large amounts of data being processed. When virtualization is configured, new data pages are requested, and the existing DOM elements are reused to render them. These requests happen as the user scrolls through the list of items.
This example demonstrates how to configure the MultiColumnComboBox to use virtualization by simply creating read
and valuemapper
actions, and adding the MultiColumnComboBox to the view.
This demo shows how to set the valuemapper
in the MultiColumnComboBox.
This MultiColumnComboBox example is part of a unique collection of hundreds of jQuery demos, with which you can see all Kendo UI for jQuery components and their features in action. View the source code of the demos from the library or directly adapt, and edit them and their theme appearance in Kendo UI for jQuery Dojo or ThemeBuilder.
