The jQuery Area Chart supports the Stacked Area Chart variation. While Stacked Area Charts are similar to Area Charts, they display multiple data series starting each point from the point left by the previous data series. Stacked Charts are suitable for indicating the proportion of individual values to the total and for comparing multiple variables changing over time.
The current example illustrates how to create the stacked area with the Kendo UI for jQuery Chart. Multiple series rendered in the same Area Chart will overlap one another by default. To avoid that, you can stack these series on top of one another, so that the data values at each x-value are summed. In a Stacked Area Chart, the value for each series will always be stacked relative to the preceding one.
This Stacked Area Chart example is part of a unique collection of hundreds of jQuery demos, with which you can see all Kendo UI for jQuery components and their features in action. View the source code of the demos from the library or directly adapt, and edit them and their theme appearance in Kendo UI for jQuery Dojo or ThemeBuilder.
