Description

The Kendo UI for jQuery Grid provides a SmartBox toolbar component that combines traditional search with AI-powered semantic search capabilities in a unified interface.

This demo showcases the SmartBox functionality which allows users to seamlessly switch between standard text search and semantic search. The SmartBox includes search history, customizable placeholders, and intelligent query processing to help users find data more efficiently. It provides a modern search experience that adapts to user needs.

In the example above, you can switch between modes in the AI Smart Box to explore each way of interaction. Use the keyword search for exact matches, try semantic search with queries like "home entertainment" to find related items like "Board Game Set", or ask the AI Assistant to apply Grid operations in natural language.
