The Telerik UI for ASP.NET MVC PromptBox supports custom adornments that can be added to the start or end of the input area. Use the StartAffixTemplate and EndAffixTemplate options to customize the appearance of the PromptBox with icons, buttons, or other elements.

This demo shows how to add custom icons to both the start and end of the PromptBox input area.

The ASP.NET MVC PromptBox control is part of Telerik UI for ASP.NET MVC, a professional-grade UI library with 120+ components for building modern and feature-rich web applications. The PromptBox is a server-side wrapper for the Kendo UI for jQuery PromptBox and comes in the form of an HtmlHelper.
