Description

The Kendo UI for jQuery TreeList component supports binding to various endpoints.

The Kendo UI for jQuery TreeList provides an easy binding to an OData-v4 service.

The current example shows how to populate the TreeList with data from the OData-v4 service. The main points in the implementation are:

  1. Initially requesting only the top level items (root items). The specific scenario uses a bound function.
  2. Requesting only the child nodes for a given node, on expand, using the id field value defined in the model.

This TreeList example is part of a unique collection of hundreds of jQuery demos, with which you can see all Kendo UI for jQuery components and their features in action. View the source code of the demos from the library or directly adapt, and edit them and their theme appearance in Kendo UI for jQuery Dojo or ThemeBuilder.
