Description

The Telerik UI for ASP.NET MVC DropDownTree allows you to add an image to each node by using the ImageUrl() method. To achieve the desired scenario, set the image URL, as demonstrated in the first DropDownTree of this example.

Another option is to use sprites. The sprites are a collection of image files combined into a single file that is loaded on the page with the background-image CSS property. Specify the respective sprite CSS class for each node by using the SpriteCssClasses() option. In this way, the sprite images will be loaded on the page through a single HTTP request. The items of the second DropDownTree of this example use sprites.

Additional Apps

This DropDownTree example is part of a unique collection of hundreds of ASP.NET MVC demos, with which you can see all Telerik ASP.NET MVC components and their features in action. View the source code of the demos from the library or directly adapt, and edit them and their theme appearance in the ThemeBuilder.
